| 内容記述 | This project involves scientific research that explores, through the combined lenses of media art and neuroscience, emotional response to the experience of color and sound in a series of demonstration experiments. Subjects are placed in a special light-filled environment and the blood flow in their frontal lobes is measured using fNIRS (functional nearinfrared spectroscopy). An artistic experience is enacted in the form of a biofeedback system, in which the measurements are analyzed instantaneously, and the colors and sounds in the environment adjusted in accordance with changes detected in the blood flow. The data collected through this system will provide a point of reference for further research into the relationships between emotions and the physical senses, emotions and the body, emotions and feelings, and so forth. | |||||
