| 内容記述 | This practical report is a record of my attempts to utilize films to introduce English poetry to university students in two classes at different universities. Teaching English poetry offers the following four educational advantages which I have found through questionnaires and research : it enhances students’ motivation to read, it is effective in helping students to cultivate their understanding of English and American culture, it improves receptive vocabulary and is easy to implement into a collaborative learning lesson. By examining the data from assignments and questionnaires about my lectures, I found that most of the participants enjoyed the classes and felt that they had gained some familiarity with English poetry. | |||||
