| 内容記述 | The cooccurrence restrictions between degree adverbs and predicates have been studied using intuition-based approaches. In this paper, the statistical method of factor analysis is applied to data from a newspaper corpus to extract properties of degree adverbs that characterize the possibility of their coocurrence with predicates. Four factors were extracted that can be interpreted to correspond to semantic features of predicates. | |||||
