| 内容記述 | According to a concept of“implicit personality theory”proposed by Bruner & Tagiuri（1954）, perceivers assume inferential relations among personality traits. This study examined how to perceive personality of animals bred in the zoo. Female undergraduate（N＝305）were asked to infer personality traits of their most intimate same-sex person on the Big Five Scale（Wada, 1996）. Next, they inferred personality traits of the photographed animal bred in the zoo on the same scale. The factor analyses （Maximum likelihood estimation with promax rotations）for two kinds of scales were executed. For the close friend, five factors were extracted and correspond to ones found by Wada（1996）. However, five factors extracted for the animal bred in the zoo were a little different from ones for the close friend. The cluster analysis and the higher-order factor analysis for personality trait scores indicated diacritical features for various animals | |||||
