| 内容記述 | This study describes how student recognition of minor programs in the Department of Representatives at Doshisha Womenʼs College of Liberal Arts was improved by their attendance at introductory sessions for the programs. This study is based on Wakamoto, Maruyama, and Imai (2014), and uses the same questionnaire. Participants for the questionnaire were 369 female college students representing the English and Japanese departments, and most of them were first year students. The results show that the introductory session contributed to enhancing the recognition of the minor programs and to expanding the studentsʼ perspectives about the programs. At the same time, however, it was found that more detailed information about the programs should be provided, especially about their rationales and advantages, in order to attract more participants. | |||||||||
