| 内容記述 | 高齢者の社会的孤立を防止する新しい社会システムが必要とされている。本研究では，新型コロナウィルス感染症拡大の影響で活動の中止を余儀なくされたコミュニティの実践例をとりあげ，高齢者のオンライン利活用による社会参加支援の過程を共有する。その実践過程の振り返りを通して，つながりが途切れず続く社会システムに必要な条件を明らかにすることが研究の目的である。ICT の利活用を活性するために，まずは高齢者のICT 利活用状況と社会交流の頻度から，高齢者のICT 利活用ニーズを4 タイプに分類し，タイプ別のICT スタートアップ支援の方法を検討した。そして，継続的なICT 利用を促すために，オンラインのコミュニケーションを活性するワークショップを設計した。その結果，新型コロナウィルス感染症拡大前に対面での活動に参加していた71名の高齢者のうち39人が，オンラインでのコミュニティ活動に参加することができた。本研究の実践から，高齢者がニーズやスキルに合わせて参加の仕方を自由に選べる活動の設計により，高齢者のICT 利活用による社会参加が促されることが明らかとなった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | An innovative social system to prevent social isolation among the elderly is needed in the current aging society. In this study, we will share the practice of supporting the participation of senior citizens in workshops using ICT. The purpose of this study is to explore key points that can be used to enhance and sustain the social involvement of the participants in order to maintain these close bonds within the community throughout their lives. To activate the use of ICT among the elderly, their need for using ICT was classified into four types through interviews. The interviews were conducted to determine their ICT utilization status and frequency of social interactions using ICT. The methods used to support the elderly as they started using ICT were examined. Based on the results of the interview, the participants were able to choose the method they felt most comfortable with, were found to motivate them to continue using ICT. As a result, 39 of the 71 elderly people who participated in face-to-face activities before the pandemic were more willing to participate in the online community network. The result of this research shows that designing online community activities where the elderly are given a chance to choose, in accordance to their needs and skills, which communication tool they would prefer is the key factor to promoting the elderly’s social participation utilizing ICT. | |||||
