The scenic description is quite impressive, especially because of the \"voice\" of River Derwent constantly streaming, which ‘temper[ed]' his \"human waywardness\" into \"infant softness.\"\n　However, further investigation into Wordsworth's work along with the letters of his sister, Dorothy Wordsworth (1771-1855), makes it clear that Dorothy herself had been the most significant tutelary stream to nurture his poetic sensibility since childhood, and to calm his potentially explosive mentality.
