Three kinds of approaches were adopted for the investigation: sociopsychological, nutritional, and clinical psychological. In a series of feature articles, three experiential studies were reported. Kogirima et al. tested the validity of a school-based nutrition education program. Kusaka developed a comprehensive intervention program to improve mood and depression prevention through the maintenance of activities and behavioral initiatives in older adults. Moroi and Itagaki explored the basic structure of makeup items used by female undergraduates.
