In order to verify it, the increase of AUC (AUCoral) in response to transient-increase in Qh after oral administration of propranolol with food was simulated.\n The assumption of five series of sinusoidal compartments in multi-compartment model (MCM) for hepatic extraction kinetics and linear hepatic elimination afforded us a good simulation of the food effects.
