Many of non-scientific course students responded that they became to dislike high school mathematics. Lack of effort was selected as the cause of getting good marks in mathematics among lack of ability, difficulty of problem, lack of effort, and lack of luck. It is important for high school math teachers to develop good teaching methods related to nonscientific courses. Many students responded that they liked arithmetic when they were elementary school students.
