In the program Web pages, the Loneliness Scale (Moroi, 1992; 1993), questions regarding descriptive characteristics, and self-labeling questions related to personality characteristics were administered to the Web page viewers (N = 35,268). The statistical analyses of loneliness data indicated that loneliness is one-dimensional. Interestingly, the respondents living alone did not show scores high for loneliness.
