The study analyses, the case study of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation manipulating mileage-test data. It is now indispensable for companies to engage in countermeasures that mitigate CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) related intentional fraud. And conduct business in consideration of the sustainability of the society and environment. We are also working on CSR-related supply chain management by disseminating efforts related to CSR. Not only for our company but also for suppliers. In Japan, large enterprises were thought to be ethically progressing; however, a spate of corporate scandals have been witnessed in recent years. Moreover, most of them have been deliberately rather than owing to negligent conduct. Therefore, under the current situation in Japan, it is necessary to clarify the type of supply chain management to implement when intentional fraud has occurred. Accordingly, the research suggest that it is important for businesses to carefully examine and report the actual data. Companies in business relationships are in the same business; therefore, they possess the necessary knowledge and equipment, and also have the deterrent of canceling contracts.
