Female undergraduates (N=334) were asked to estimate frequencies of reading various books (63 items) for the last half year. Also, they rated the attributional complexity scale (Fletcher et al., 1986 ; Moroi, 2000). The principal component analysis (with promax rotations) of reading behavior yielded seven components. Those component scores were significantly correlated with attributional complexity scores.
