The Social Skill Scale (Fujimoto & Daibo, 2007), the Capacity to be Alone Scale (Nomoto, 2000), and the Independent Behaviour Scale (Torii et al., 2011) were administered to female undergraduates (N=180). By the principal component analyses (promax rotations), four components for the Social Skill Scale, six components for the the Capacity to be Alone Scale, and two components for the Independent Behaviour Scale were extracted, respectively. Using obeserved variables induced by those results, the covariance structure analysis (Amos 27.0.0 ) was executed.
